Hybrid 19th Century Guitar
This little guitar was custom made for a player that specializes in 19th century music. He wanted a short scale instrument to handle some of the fingering demands in the music he plays, and he liked features from a variety of 19th century guitar makers that he wanted to incorporate in this instrument.
The body shape and bridge replicate guitars from the London maker Louis Panormo. The neck and headstock are patterned after the German maker Karl August Glaesel, and the curved back profile and bracing are similar to instruments by the French maker Lacote.
