Unrestrained vibration produces more sound and great tone. The idea behind this unique design is to allow the perimeter of the top to vibrate as freely as possible.

A routed groove around the perimeter of the lower bout thins the wood down dramatically, and is reinforced with extremely lightwieght fiberglass cloth to provide strength. The result is a nice full sound with very rich bass and a pleasing treble register.
